Kythnos Island
Kythnos belongs to the Western Cyclades in Aegean Sea and is between Kea and Serifos. Access is only by boat from Piraeus in 3 hours or from Lavrio in 1.5 hours, with frequent traffic during the summer months. The car is necessary for the island for the most comfortable access to the Villa, but also to the many beaches of the island.
Kythnos is perhaps the island with the most beaches of all other islands in Greece (over 90) and most of them are accessible by car.
Apart from the many options for the sea bath, the visitor can explore the island's history because Kythnos was inhabited since the 13th century BC. and had a turbulent historical route.
The island has two harbors, Merichas and Loutra with the Healing thermal waters known from the Othon’s days.
The nightlife options are many in Chora,Mericha,Dryopida and Loutra.
